Mission definition
Our team of Transition Managers is able to support you in this specific task. Our Credit Managers are able to integrate into your company to better analyze financial risk and define the solvency of its customer portfolio. They ensure that the proceeds of the sales concluded by your sales representatives end up in your company’s account as soon as possible.
In conjunction with the sales and accounting departments, the interim Credit Manager assesses the solvency and accounting of customers. He ensures the implementation of a process to reduce payment times and thus facilitate the collection of turnover.
The role
The role of an interim Credit Manager , especially in a context of interim management , is more transversal than ever.
In charge of assessing the ability of customers to contribute to turnover, he has several means at his disposal.
In connection with the sales managers, he analyzes the payment capacities of the customers. Then, he seeks to reduce the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding – average customer payment time) in order to optimize the BFR (Working Capital Requirement) of the company. Thus, the interim Credit Manager will analyze customer accounts to better identify any accounting errors in receipts.
Once this work is done, the interim Credit Manager drafts the contractual documents (General Conditions of Sale, clauses related to regulations, for example).
He is responsible for implementing the recovery policy . In the event of disputes, your company will follow a procedure established by the Transition Credit Manager. This procedure takes into account the cost of each action for your company and the impact on the customer.
Skills required
Our interim Credit Managers have developed legal , managerial and commercial skills. They are good communicators, establishing links with the different departments of your company and your customers.
Our interim Credit Managers have at least 10 years of experience in the collection field. They have validated a Master 2 Finance, accounting or organizational audit or a Bac +5 from a business school. Moreover, they are fluent in English and can therefore interact with international clients.
They are able to manage a team, analyze balance sheets and draft contractual documents according to legal standards.
They demonstrate a certain sense of negotiation : they have the ability to resolve complicated situations with customers. They also know how to be organized to deal with hazards while respecting deadlines.
