Your mission with Reactive Executive?
We are a company of 140 employees in the metallurgy sector. In 2014, we had to cut costs, which meant reducing staff. To deal with this situation we called, after the presentation of our problem, to Reactive Executive. The firm offered us the intervention over a period of 5 to 6 months, of a transition team in the company: a project manager for the management of a GPEC plan and a consultant specialized in reclassification.
The GPEC plan was presented to the Works Council and managers. The reasons for this reduction in staff and the concrete actions that we could put in place have been clearly explained. At the same time, the Reclassification consultant from Reactive Executive supported certain employees on projects outside the company: training, new employment, business creation.
This support had a snowball effect since several collaborators worked with this consultant on various personal projects.
The GPEC plan, which however had not received the agreement of the Works Council, perfectly met its objectives: no economic layoffs took place.
The contribution of the Reactive Executive team, understanding of the situation, communication with all parties and their actions with teams and managers has been essential in managing this difficult phase in the life of a company. In addition, the budget and deadlines were respected.
