Transition Technical Director F/M

Reactive Executive, leader in transition management, is looking for a transition Technical Director (F/M) in the Transport sector for one of its clients.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Ensure operational continuity and the proper functioning of the Technical Department, ensuring that operations take place without major interruption,
  • Lead and coordinate the Technical Management teams and internal workshops in all the group's countries,
  • Implement the wagon fleet maintenance policy by optimizing Safety, Quality, Cost and Availability,
  • Coordinate the maintenance plan with operations,
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards relating to railway equipment,
  • Liaise with external railway stakeholders, such as ECM certification bodies, EPSF and national and international associations,
  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulators and business partners,
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, KPIs and progress towards achieving set objectives.
Required profile
  • Qualified as an engineer, the transition manager is an expert in the field of maintenance,
  • Fluency in professional English is imperative,
  • Ability to maintain customer and/or supplier relationships,
  • Central position in exchanges with the different departments of the group, acting as a railway technical reference for the company,
  • Knowledge of the COGNOS Analytics tool would be an added advantage.
